academy dates + times

We will start as one group for Days 1, 2, and 3. After that, participants will be split into two groups. Final dates, times and locations are still to be confirmed. Below is an approximate overview:

Day 1: Thursday 18/06, 13:00 - 17:00 or Friday 19/06, 13:30 – 18:30 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 2: Thursday 25/06, 13:00 – 17:00 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 3: Friday 26/06, 13:30 – 18:30 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 4 (Group 1): Thursday 02/07, 13:00 – 17:00 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 4 (Group 2): Friday 03/07, 13:30 – 18:30 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 5 (Group 1): Thursday 09/07, 13:00 – 17:00 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 5 (Group 2): Friday 10/07, 13:30 – 18:30 (Gymbox Farringdon)

Day 6 (Group 1): Thursday 16/07, 13:00 – 17:00 (Gymbox Farringdon — potentially our new studio in Westfield; if so, we may start earlier)

Day 6 (Group 2): Friday 17/07, 13:30 – 18:30 (Gymbox Farringdon — potentially our new studio in Westfield; if so, we may start earlier)

After completing all 6 Academy days, trial classes will be scheduled in our new studio in Westfield, where you’ll have the opportunity to practice the concepts in front of a live audience.

Please send us an email to work@theclb.com with your resume, a short introduction about yourself, your availability for all Academy days, and your availability for the audition dates. Deadline to apply is Thursday 28/05. We aim to send out the official audition invitations by the end of that week.

The CLB (formerly known as BTY CLB) is known for lower body focused workouts, with our infamous stage, light shows and beat-based follow-the-trainer class concepts. With 5 locations based in The Netherlands we're about to expand internationally, with a very first proud stop: LDN! Westfield London, near Shepherd’s Bush.

Our Academy is a 6-day training program, followed by trial classes, where you'll learn everything you need to know about teaching our three concepts: CORE, LIFT & TONE.

THE CONCEPTS.

TONE

TONE is a full-body strength class designed to sculpt and define, combining our signature intensity with controlled, Pilates-inspired movements.

Expect our signature follow-the-trainer format, where precision and control lead every sequence. The workout targets every major muscle group, building lean strength, improving stability, and creating balance throughout the body.

A burning workout for enhanced sculpting, ready to tone the body from top to bottom.

SCULPTING WORKOUT
FUSING INTENSITY & PILATES-INSPIRED MOVEMENTS.

CORE

CORE is a lower-body focused strength class designed to build powerful glutes and a strong, stable core. Expect the same follow-the-trainer format, combining controlled strength work with a targeted core training as an essential part of the workout.

You’ll train with resistance bands, kettlebells, and ankle weights to maximise muscle activation and precision.

Walk out feeling stronger, more connected, and challenged - with glutes and abs that stay switched on long after the workout ends.

STRENGTH WORKOUT
ADVANCED BUILDING WITH BARBELLS & PLATES

LIFT

LIFT is an advanced, lower-body focused strength class designed to build power, muscle, and definition through barbell training.

Expect our signature follow-the-trainer format, where controlled, intentional lifts drive results. The focus is on legs and glutes, while supporting the barbell engages the upper body for full-body activation.

You’ll train with a barbell and plates to increase load and intensity, while maintaining precision in every movement. Leave The CLB feeling stronger, more powerful, and fully challenged.

Level: Advanced - experience with barbell training is recommended.
